Lauren Rosolino

Author of The Charm Necklace and Running to Stand Still. Writer of stories about finding beauty in brokenness.

I am a storyteller. Adventurer. Partner. Coffee drinker. Believer in magic. Rebel with a gypsy soul. INFJ. Swiftie for life. Lover of words and books, the woods and walks.

Born and bred in Detroit, I grew up reading Harry Potter, watching Gilmore Girls, listening (and dancing) to a lot of music, and wondering why people do what they do. After experimenting at several different colleges, I graduated from Wayne State University with my BA in Psychology in 2013. I live with my techie husband, our dog, cat, and bunny in Charleston, SC.

It’s always good to know you’re not alone in the world. If you think I’m your kind of person, reach out. Let’s chat about books, coffee, tattoos, Once Upon a Time, all things psychology, and the many mysteries of the universe – find me on Twitter, Instagram, Goodreads, or better yet, email me at [email protected] And don’t forget to check out my website www.laurenrosolino.com for bonus chapters, music playlists, discussion questions for The Charm Necklace, and updates on my latest work-in-progress.

Clarice

I’m Clarice. No, not Clarice from The Silence of the Lambs. Clarice, as in Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer’s girlfriend. You know the one who wears the red bow with white polka dots.

Coffee, tea, books, my dogs, my family, and teaching consume my life.

Growing up I was always reading, but at the age of 11 V.C. Andrew’s Flowers in the Attic created a book devourer (what was my mom thinking letting an 11 year old read a book about incest?). I consume books as if they give me life. Books are my comfort, joy, and even my best friends. I have a TBR pile as tall as I am. My library continues to grow because I refuse to let any book go, even if I hated it. Fantasy books are my jam. They allow me to escape from the monotony that can be my life at times. I still believe that one day a shadowhunter, or some other supernatural being, is going to show up in my life and my reading will have prepared me for this event. I am waiting for you Julian Blackthorn or Jacob Black (or both).

    Hi Lauren!!
I love this pic of you, I miss this face more than you know. I can not wait to read your next masterpiece, Running to Stand Still!! I’m so proud of you and all your accomplishments. Tears are running down my face as I write this because of the woman you have become, beautiful….love and miss you

    • Jackie! I don’t even know how to respond to this! All I can say is that I can never thank you enough for your presence and love in my life. I can honestly say that I wouldn’t be this woman I’ve become if it wasn’t for you. I still think about you and Chels all the time, and all the cumulative years I’ve spent at your house! haha! You mean so, so much to me. The whole world, in fact. Love and miss you too! <3
